Cancer research -race for life!

Well ladies,
Again, been some time since my last wee blog to you all. This one is with a wee difference. Not so much me me me me, but aiming to help others.

In the UK, we have a WOMEN ONLY EVENT CALLED race for life. Organised by the charity CANCER RESEARCH. It is a 5 km "race" with no winners or losers. You can walk, run or jog it. So no pressure to us less fit ladies.

It's a great way to meet new friends, raise money or just to achieve something on a personal level.
I'm running for the memory of my gran, and for my Uncle who is dying from cancer just now. I don't think he will still be here when the race comes on May 11th.

I thought to myself.......why not see if other SHOES would enter? We could all have a girl power sticker on our T shirts to enable us to SHOE SPOT!! lol!!
