Spring has sprung.....

Well folkies, been a while since I updated my wee blogger.
Hamish is doing much better now. Although he has a small issue with ulcers between his wee toes, caused by lack of muscle further up the leg. But I'm working on getting that stronger.
We are due at orthopedics on the 24th, so should have a better idea then, he is being anaethsitised and x rays with stability tests. Hope all is ok with him.
Me? Well, still on the big fitness campaign. In fact, I'm now in training for shot put and discus. I've a major competition on 20th May, so will let you all know how it goes. I'm pretty nervous, as it is my first comp since school days...long long time ago......
I'm swimming again now. Yipeeeeeeeee! I was pretty worried the first time, the thought occurred to me that I couldn't feel the bottom of the pool. Although swimming arms only is tiring, it is great to be back in the water. Now I just need to get rid of trhose last few ciggies, so I can get fitter lung wise!!!!
I got my hand cycle thingie, so I'm now even more mobile than before. :Got2go HeeHee, just to warn you all too, I passed my hand controls assesement. So will hopefully be back on the roads soon....lol!! I love driving and miss it terribly.
Well, this is just a little update, I'll come back and write more once I have a better picture of what's happening in my life.

Cool
