Everyone is somebodys hero, they just don't know it yet!Well ladies, I managed it!
Today, I took part in my first Race For Life for Cancer Research. I wheeled 5km in mud and wet grass, not to mention potholes, loose gravel and many many large stones!
I was the only wheelie out of 2000 runners! I now know why, it is not a wheelie frienjdly race. But I still did it. Managed a respectful time of 38 minutes. Pretty happy with that time as I manged

Well ladies,
Again, been some time since my last wee blog to you all. This one is with a wee difference. Not so much me me me me, but aiming to help others.
In the UK, we have a WOMEN ONLY EVENT CALLED race for life. Organised by the charity CANCER RESEARCH. It is a 5 km "race" with no winners or losers. You can walk, run or jog it. So no pressure to us less fit ladies.

Has been some time since I blogged on SHOE. So much has happened.
Sports wise, I have finally achieved one of my goals. I've been selected to represent my country at disabled athletics!! 
I had a good first ever season winning a total of 7 golds and one silver at various sports, including Shotputt, Discus, Javelin, Club and Badminton. All as wheelchair sports. So I
